In the summer of 1968 Springdale Country Club was born. What had once been a working farm-school operated in conjunction with Columbia University was now the site of Western North Carolina's newest golf course community. Over the years, Springdale has grown into a full-service golf resort and community. The resort is still owned and operated by the Tingle family who has lived at Springdale since its debut over 35 years ago.
