Marilyn Ball will be the first speaker in our Educational Speaker Series. Marilyn grew up here at Springdale and has close ties with the Tingle family and golf in the western Carolina area. Marilyn is a local historian and the author of her own book “Rise of Asheville” – An Exceptional History of Commitment Building. Marilyn also has her own podcast “Speaking of Travel” where she shares and discusses stories about how travel changes you.
