Below is a small sampling of some favorites among Springdale guests.
The Blue Ridge Parkway
Take a day trip on the magnificent parkway! There are stunning vistas at the many overlooks. If you feel inclined to stretch your legs, hike on one of the countless trails including the Mountains to Sea Trail, the many trails of Shining Rock Wilderness, and Graveyard Fields.
A half-hour east of Springdale lies the beautiful city of Asheville. There are many things to do if you fancy a short trip into the city. Some favorites include the world-famous Biltmore House, the N.C. Arboretum, numerous shopping and culinary delights in the downtown area, and make sure you grab a beer. Asheville has the most breweries per capita in the country.
Only minutes away is the mountain town of Waynesville. You will find plenty of boutiques and shops featuring local talents as well as an array of restaurants and breweries. Check out Waynesville’s blog to learn more about this charming town.
Less than an hour away through the beautiful Pisgah National Forrest, Brevard is a quaint mountain town. Boasting everything from shopping, to restaurants, to some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the southeast … you’ll want to make sure Brevard is on your list of must-visit towns during your stay.
Great Smoky Mountains National Park
